Cregagh Nursing Home is located on the Cregagh Road, at Ladas Drive roundabout. Its central location makes travel by bus most accessible for both residents and visitors. Shops, Libraries and Banks are all within easy walking distance.

Range of Care
Nursing care is provided on two floor levels, on the ground floor 18 beds provide interim care, home from hospital, rehabilitation, post operative care and medical and surgical convalescence. The first floor provides care to residents who are either Frail Elderly, Convalescent, Respite Care or Terminal Care. The terminally ill residents will be nursed in a calm and loving atmosphere, where pain, if present, will be effectively controlled. Mental and physical activities are encouraged through individualised diversional therapy programmes, alternative therapies such as aromatherapy and massage are also available.
Key Care Decisions
Support is provided by medical and other professional community care teams. Attention to detail is paramount, ensuring the dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident is maintained at all times. Residents are encouraged to actively participate in their individual care planning to provide a fulfilling life style and encourage independence.

Accommodation
All rooms are tastefully decorated with power points for television and sky access, individual telephones can be provided on request and billed separately. A nurse–call system is linked to each room. Our residents are encouraged to use the lounges during the day but their need to be alone on occasions, is respected by our sensitive, caring staff.
Facilities
A varied and nutritious menu is available with special dietary needs being catered for. Personal laundry services are available.
Personal Care
Hairdressing services are available at a nominal fee paid directly to the Home hairdresser. A list of charges are available from the Home Manager. Private podiatry services can also be arranged for a separate charge if required.
Entertainment
Strong links are established with the local community between youth groups, church groups and schools to ensure the Home is part of the local community.
Visitors
The Home operates an open door policy, visitors are encouraged and made welcome. We also welcome visits from clergy.
